Kids, Put on Your Sunday's Best...We're Going to Ikea
Yesterday was fun. I called in "sick" again (i know, I'm so bad!) and Heather and I took a trip to Portland to shop at the Ikea. We needed a big long list of stuff for our apartment, and since she had to start work again today, we figured yesterday would be the best time to do it. We got all kinds of cool stuff for the kitchen and bathroom and such. I got this really cool coffee cup and saucer for $3.99 and these cute butterfly pictures for only 25 cents. Seriously, good bargains make me so happy/excited. It's definitely worth the gas money to go there. There were so many darn people there though, it made it sort of overwhelming. But we made it out alive.
Then we came home and made burritos for dinner and watched Big Brother. I tried that soy "ground beef" for the first time, and I love it! I'm always a little wary when it comes to fake meat products, but it was really good. I'm still not sure about fake chicken, though.
Speaking of Big Brother...I'm so excited for Jeff to use the Coup D'etat. It's gonna be freakin awesome!! I'm kinda hoping that Jesse gets voted out and Natalie will be all by herself! Boohoo!
