I awoke this morning to watch Regis & Kelly and what do I see when I turn on the TV? Nada. Despite my atltempts to avoid this whole digital tv switcheroo, I'm still forced to make a decision to get a converter box or get cable. So I got cable. I swore up and down I never would, but whatevs. Now I can watch the Food Network again!
I applied for a job at Starbucks yesterday. It would be cool to work there because it's literally a block from my house and I'm sure they would be a lot more flexible when it comes to working with a school schedule. I'm not putting all my eggs in this one basket, though.
Graduation is tomorrow and I get to work there instead of where I normally work. But according to my coworkers, it's more boring than the job that I do now. I'm just going to bring a book and maybe a puzzle book and keep myself occupied. And I get SUNDAY off. Sweet!
I'm trying to think of ideas on what I could do this summer to keep me busy when I'm not working. There's a lot of furniture I want to paint in my place. It's just kinda hard to do that when I have limited space. It's like I have all these ideas on what I could do but then find myself just sitting around when I don't have something I have to do. And then I feel bad for not doing anything. It's all a very annoying, stupid cycle and I really wanna work on that.
