These five days went by so fast. It was a lot of fun, though. :)
On Saturday, I went to dinner with my sister and her two friends for her 23rd birthday. We went to
this place and I had the best veggie panini EV-ER. They had some really interesting-sounding drinks (lilac martini?! Hello!) but I was broke so I didn't have one. My sister's friend had a drink that was in a Pop Rocks-rimmed glass. Awesome. I definitely wanna go back soon.
After dinner was the costume party Heather's brother's girlfriend was having. I was a shark and Heather was a gypsy. LMAO I believe all parties should be costume parties, they're just so much fun. Heather made jello shots and we bought some pomegranate vodka. Jello shots are crazy, I honestly had never really had them before that night. It was a super fun night.
Sunday I spent a lot of time vegging out and watching movies. I watched Eurotrip and Ghost World. I hadn't seen Ghost World in a while, so that was cool. Later on, I went to Jessie's house and we watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I really love that movie, it's like I'm watching it for the first time every time I watch it. Then we met her boyfriend, Tony at the bar for a couple beers. Jessie and I talked about the guy at work I think is into me. She thinks I should make the first move because he may never do anything. It was good to talk to somebody else about this, it gave me some perspective on it all.
Today, my Dad came over and helped me tame the jungle that was my backyard. We pulled a bunch of weeds and mowed the grass. There's still some work to do, but it looks a hell of a lot better than it did.
Afterwards, I went to see that movie I Love You Man. It was pretty darn funny. I love both Paul Rudd and Jason Segall, so it was a treat.
Now I'm at my parents house getting ready to have some yummy grilled fish and corn for dinner. I love long weekends. :)
Oh yeah, and here's some pictures
Heather and I in our coustumes.
Dun dun dun! i'm a terrifying shark!
