I Don't Think I'll Look at Soda the Same Anymore
School is out for winter break, but my co-workers and I have to come in and clean the first part of this week. Today was my first day of cleaning and it was pretty okay. I first had to clean the area where I work, which was super easy. I kinda love cleaning sometimes because I can just get in the zone and feel really good about my job afterwards. But then I had to clean the room where we keep the fountain soda stuff (boxes of soda syrup, CO2 tanks, crazy tubes going everywhere). I started this job at around 1pm, and by the time it was time for me to go at 4:30, I had just finished actually cleaning the room. WHAT A MESS! These guys I work with put all the soda boxes back away. I am defintely one of those people who like to see a job I'm doing all the way through, but I was happy to get out of there! Gotta go back and do eight more hours of cleaning tomorrow.
Ohh yummness, my mom made her Christmas fudge today and she made it with marshmallows on the bottom. SO GOOD!
In other news, my phone turned on after some drying. I already ordered a new one. Now I'm not sure what to do! Seriously, this would be my third phone of this variety, and that's kinda sad....in a funny way. But that's what happened with the one I accidentally threw in the garbage. It ended up turning on after some drying, but then it ended up messing up anyway. Maybe I just won't take my chances.
I can't wait to move out of this house. I love my family but my mom's smoking in the house is really starting to piss me off. She thinks that if she smokes in the other room I won't smell it or something, but that really doesn't work. And when I wake up early in the morning to go pee or something it fucking reeks and it makes me so mad. She won't even go outside even though everyone else who lives here is a nonsmoker. I know it's her house, but she should put her family's health and well-being before her gross habit. And I can't get her to quit because she has to wanna do that herself. *Sigh* I'll be able to move into my own smoke-free apartment soon hopefully.
Gotta go watch the season finale of Survivor Gabon. Yes, I'm a dork.
