kickin it old school
Today I called in sick cuz I have a little cold. Which is annoying because I JUST had a cold a month ago. I guess that's because I'm constantly interacting with people, so I'm constantly being exposed to their germs. Must get stockpile of Airbone to fight off the germs!
A few months ago, my dad found a Nintendo 64 on the side of the road. He let it dry out, and then all I had to do was get a cord for it. So I bought a cord for it and rented a game. Lo and behold...it works!! This is so exciting because I haven't played a 64 in a long time and it is so much more fun than PS2 any day. My sis and I used to have one back in the day, but I left it at a friends house and never got it back. So we've been playing Mario Party 3 like crazy for these past few days. Just like old times!
I am so excite for Thanksgiving! I get paid tomorrow, then it's thanksgiving (yay food + family!!), then I have three more days off after that! I'm gonna go shopping on Friday, hopefully get some gifts for people. I have a pretty good idea of what to get my sister and dad, but not my mom. I know what she likes, but she always wants "mom" stuff (you know, kitchen appliances, dish towels, things of that nature). I wanna get her something nice just for her but not sure what. Hmmm. I'm sure I'll figure something out.
