Best Job EVER!
I AM SO EXCITED. I had my orientation for my new job today. I think this is the most excited I've ever been about a job, ever. Why? Well because I get to rent up to three movies at a time for free AND I get to view ones that aren't even available to the public yet. So today I rented "What Happens in Vegas" and "Son of Rambow" (both come out on Tuesday). Jealous much? We had to watch all these cheesy training videos today at orientation and sign a bunch of paperwork. The last training video we watched was a safety video and it was a spoof of Jackass. It was stupid but funny. At least they try and make the videos entertaining. I'm just happy I work at a place where I will never ever have to wash dishes.
Last night, I met up with my sister at the bar and we did some karaoke! I had not done karaoke in months, I was starting to go through withdrawls! LOL That was fun. I sang the song 'Magic Man' by Heart. My sis got a little too drunk, though. When she finally got on stage, she didn't really sing much of the song, she was kinda just yelling a bunch of stuff. It was kinda funny, but also a little unnerving. And it's not like I can say "You should really try and slow it down there." She doesn't respond well to people telling her what to do. Plus I'm used to drinking a lot and I can hold my liquor. My sis is still young and I don't think she knows her limit or she just ignores it. Whatever, we had fun! I saw my friend from reggae there. I think I'm developing a little crush on him. He's cute, he can sing really well and he's only 26 and is already a teacher. That's all I really know so far. So we'll just see.
The stars are finally lining up for me. I couldn't be happier!
