[ He appears to be deep in thought about something. ]

Ummm, what's your world like, Lily-chan? I used to not believe in magic either, but I can sort of do that stuff too. Though it's... kind of really dangerous.

Where I come from a lot of people don't believe in magic.

What would you like to know about my world? I go to a school for magic. It's called Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Magic isn't dangerous if you know what you're doing.

Oh, no, the magic we have in our world is really dangerous. Most of the magic I can use causes instant death--

[ He says this quite bluntly, but stops halfway when he hears about Hogwarts. ]

Whoa! You have a magic SCHOOL? So it can be... learned? It's not just like, a thing? Do you summon a Persona like my friends to do magic? Can you do it all the time?

Yes, we have a magic school. I got a letter when I was eleven inviting me to attend. What's a Persona? And yes, I can do magic any time I like.

H-hey, just because it's darkness doesn't mean it's evil, you know? I swear!

[ There's a pause. ] ... Actually, Light magic in my world does the same thing.

It's... how you use it and on who that matters, but I keep forgetting people don't know about Personas! They're like manifestations of your inner self; a mask used to face hardships, tamed and controlled by its wielder for protection from danger. My friends can only use their magic from their Personas at a certain time of day, so I was wondering, I guess.

I'm just curious about why the magic is so different in other worlds.

So in your world magic is only used in combat?

...well that sounds a bit like a Patronus. They're meant to protect against darkness. A manifestation of your positivity. They take the forms of animals, and the animal represents who you are. But it's just a spell like any other.

For the most part, yeah. My friends can also heal and enhance themselves in combat with their Personas, which are capable of close combat, too, but otherwise we don't have magic. Not many people are even aware Personas exist.

[ He looks thoughtful for a bit, here. ]

Mm, a Patronus... that sounds a lot like a Persona, yeah. Though Personas usually tend to take the form of mythological things, like Gods or Goddesses or folklore. I guess you can do any kind of magic at any time, huh? Not just... to protect yourself, or heal people?

It's definitely very different than the magic where I come from. I can do nearly anything with magic. I've recently started doing all my cooking using magic.
