I've found one problem with zombie movies. You always see this small group of people with guns and the like trying to excape a bunch of swarming zombies who are trying to turn the humans into zombies. Here's where the problem comes in... what's so bad about being a zombie? In most movies zombies have some sort of superhuman powers, why try to fight back? Sure it would take some getting used to, but being a zombie might be fun. I'm certain that Thoreau would welcome the change. While there is one book/videogame/soon to be movie that accuratly explains why one would not want to become a zombie, most do not. This is where my hate for zombie movies comes in... I just can't get excited for the humans trying to excape when the alternate doesn't seem that bad.
