I don't know, but that's where they are in my Wire in the Blood ficathon story. Somehow this seemed like a good idea at the time, especially since I wasn't having any other ideas around that time. It doesn't seem like such a good idea right now, after all it's not like the Impala is a TARDIS in disguise, but I'm 10k words in the hole already with this one (in two days), and it's too late to abandon this bunny now. Besides the deadline is looming. I did a snowflake on it, which took about 5000 words for the entire short story and today I started to actual writing. I want to be done writing on Saturday so I'll have Sunday left for editing, It won't be brilliant, in fact it will be crack and bad crack at that, but I will have a story by the deadline. And in case anyone has been wondering, it has nothing whatsoever to do with that prompt.
My fears about no one showing up for the TGIO are slowly being allayed (is that the right word?). Four people seem to be confirmed solid, including myself. With any luck the rest will show up as well. In wordly new, I made some progress in my x-mas shopping. I finally found that magnetic globe puzzle I wanted to give Bro, and I got working on getting gifts for several internet peoplez. The first batch of cards and gifts has been mailed this morning.
There will be more of Journey Man here and on ff.net soon. If you want to read the whole thing (and I don't know why you would), check it out on whofic where it's all up already.
