Week 2 has struck slightly early this year. For those not familiar with the phenomenon, the second week of NaNoWriMo is where the going gets though for a lot of writers and it appears I'm one of them this year. After throwing a lot of semi-random events into my novel the first week, I now have to start thinking about where all this is going to lead. As always when things aren't going so well writing wise, I write a lot of dialogue.I have a heard time describing stuff, so most of what I write is dialogue and actions. This only gets worse when I'm behind on my daily wordage. Some of that dialogue will have to go during the editing process, but for the time being I need the wordage. I really want to make the 50k this year. I think I have enough plot, or at least I've started enough plots and subplots to fill a novel, but I have no idea yet how it all connects or how the characters and their relationships with each other are going to develop during the story.
