Dark Comedy all around
While Running on the treadmill today, LA Fitness had the TV on Fox News and O'Reilly (Bleeeck!) was on and being Close Captioned and there was a sad story on about a poor gentleman who had his heat turned off and consequently died. However, on the CC here is how the story read:
"The elderly man died of cold exposure after the city had cut off his feet"
Now mind you, I was running at the time, minding my own business with 30 other people on the treadmills... I end up having to stop, laugh my ass off... then feel like a weirdo after being the only one laughing (as it usually is in most scenarios)... I then recollected myself and continued to run... *shakes head* Ahhh, my good ol' sense of dark humor... Gotta love it!
