The Moon's at its point of closest approach to the Earth at the moment and looking beautiful and big. I wanted to get some photos but I still haven't got all the settings on my camera quite worked out. No practice I guess. The ones I got that aren't just balls of light aren't bad, although they are a little less crisp than I wanted. I'm not sure if that was because of condensation on the mirror assembly, atmosphere, a poor 300mm lens or something else.
