Nobody should ever feel unsafe in their own home. This isn't like cleaning or noise complaints - it is an issue that involves no comprimise. Nobody should ever have to comprimise on safety. I can't imagine how Emily could ever feel safe again in the backyard with a dog that attacked her.
It's not the first incident. A couple of times, I've been outside putting washing up and had the dog run barking at me. Kahn has been attacked numerous times, just because someone gave her attention.
It's bad enough what happened, but Emily was also quite lucky. Imagine if she'd been kneeling down and the dog had bitten her face? Or if she wasn't good with dogs and hadn't been able to get it off her? Or, God-forbid if we had a child over for some reason that wandered out the back?
