Apologies, darlings, for having disappeared, but RENO KIDNAPPED ME OFF TO NEW YORK. I've just got home and it was the best vacation I've had in ages. He gets millions of points for having everything all planned out, I'm terribly proud of him.
We went to two plays, The Little Mermaid (which he thought was funny because he says I look like the main character) and Rent (which was thrilling), and to the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building and Central Park and the Museum of Natural History and there was amazing food and oh it was such fun.
Surprisingly in a city that huge, we actually ran into someone we knew. Mark -- from Rent -- ironically enough. He used to be on here, imakefilms. It was... interesting, to say the least. A bit awkward, at first, but it was good to see him again, and I know it made Reno happy. ^_~
OH OH. Another wicked thing was our hotel! It was on Times Square, we literally looked out our window and saw all the big lit-up signs and everything. There was a theatre directly next door.
I also found a little figurine of Light in a store!! He is tiny and adorable and made of plastic and his head comes apart so you can put different faces on him. He even has tiny handcuffs it is precious.
I'll have pictures later, once I have a chance to put them on my computer! For right now, I need to go unpack...
--wait. What in the world is going on? Did I miss another Disaster? People are being mad again.

Obviously I didn't actually run into Anthony Rapp anywhere, I think I would have spontaneously combusted, but TRACIE THOMS WAS THERE. AT RENT. ACTUALLY TRACIE THOMS WAS ACTUALLY THERE. I TOOK A PICTURE WITH HER OH MY GOD.
Also I got to hang out with Sheepi and Sam which FUCKING ROCKED.
