IT'S TOMORROW.
My mum and I just got to the Four Seasons. We're going to spend the rest of the evening lying about and getting pampered while we wait for everyone to get here... And then tonight we girls will have loads of fun drinking champagne and gossiping.
It's amazing how much fun I've had these last few days -- even with the bit about the rehearsal dinner -- once I finally had everything planned and all I had to do was get there on time!
The baseball game was a blast even though we lost -- I've never had such fun doing something I was so unutterably awful at.
Emma... the party was fantastic. Thank you. ;D
And also thank you to my other bridesmaids, and to everyone else who kept me from going insane over the last couple of weeks.
...And tomorrow afternoon I'm getting married. That is such an amazing though I hardly have words for it. A year ago I never would have thought that I'd have found -- excuse the cliche -- the love of my life, much less that I'd be about to marry him.
I know I've told you this a million times, Light, and that you don't need me to say it -- but I love you. It is incredible to me that from now on I will be waking up next to you every morning, that you will always be there for me to lean on and cry on and hold on to. You make me smile and laugh; you make me feel like there's something more to me than just a pretty face. If I lost everything else I had, I could survive it, as long as I had you. Perhaps it sounds a bit ridiculous, but thank you for being that for me. I love you.
