=Smiles= I'm glad you managed to get the day off.

=Glances over the diary again= But are you sure you can manage with a whole day off? we could manage with just the afternoon, considering everything that needs dealing with... I can offer you a hand, if you'd rather?

*smiles* So am I.

Don't worry though. I'm working straight through on the weeks either side so I'm not going to fall behind on anything. Besides, *hugs his arm* I'd much rather spend the day with you than paperwork.

I'm afraid in our office it was a fight to get the forms in. =with a faint hint of smugness= If they had done it on time, before Christmas, most of them wouldn't have been disappointed.

=Smiles widely at her= So what should we do, with a whole day off to ourselves?

I suppose that's one of the benefits of being in a small office. *grns* And being the youngest; I think David's got a bit of a soft spot for me going on how fast he agreed to my holiday.

*looks up at him, grin still wide on her face*
What if I say it's completely up to you? What do you fancy doing?

=Another smile= A soft spot?

Up tp me? Well, in that case, shall we do something different? Something... something romantic? What is it muggles do? Go to the moving pictures?

*small laugh*
I'm the same age as his daughter. Remember Jenny in Hufflepuff? That's her.

*squeezes his arm and rests her head on his shoulder*
Yes, they do go to the cinema and I think that it's a wonderful idea. You do know I have no idea what's showing at the moment though, don't you?

Looking at the cinema listings for that year, it's really not fair, everything good came out in March. While the Romeo + Juliet would be rather nice for them, Penny really wants to take him to go see Toy Story.

Jenny in Hufflepuff? =thinks back= I think I remember her...

=Nods slightly, although not much, trying not to dislodge her= They are advertising serveral at the moving picture theatre on Kensington Road... I could pick up a pamphlet tonight?

I'm not sure what Percy would rather. I think Toy Story would be completely alien to him though... =smirks= Especially the bit at the resturant and the petrol station. "Penny, penny, no, I don't want popcorn, what is happening?" It would be like going to the cinema with your grandparents!

Year below us, rather quiet but very nice.

How did Mr Crouch react when you asked for the time off? Did you have any trouble?

*happily, not actually bothered what it is they watch*
I'm sure we'll find something. And if we go during the day it'll be fairly empty; it'd be nice if we can avoid the crowds.

*g* I don't think Penny would mind much actually. I suspect she's one of those who whispers throughout the film anyway.

=Nods once more= I think I remember her. But I don't think I ever spoke to her.

He didn't say anything. Just sighed the form and waved me away. He is too busy for idle chit-chat, Penny.

That sounds like a good idea. And then the evening will be free for dinner?

I'm sure Percy is like me and has even got the hang of whispering...

Well, I suppose you were rather busy with work and keeping your House under control. I don't think I'd have had time to talk to everyone if I'd had people like your brothers in my house too.

*sighs*
I suppose so. Aagin, one of the benefits of being in a small office. I guess it must be weird though, not talking to your boss. *looks up at him, serious* Does he still get your name wrong?

*holds his arm a bit tighter*
Mmm, that will be nice.

Hooray for empty cinemas then! I've been free to comment as much as I like the last couple of times I've been.

I believe it is all part and parcel of being a Gryffindor. I think tricksters and pests are simply drawn to the House.

No, not very often now. =slight obmission of the truth= But he is very busy. He can't be expected to remember everyone who works under him. The department is constantly changing.

Where would you like to go? Reservations will need to be made soon...

*cheekily*
How did you get stuck there then? I can't really say that you're either of those things.

Maybe that's why. It's nice to have a boss who at least knows your name. And besides, *frowns a little* he's got all those languages up in his head, how hard can a few names be?

*thinks about this*
Well, there's that Wet Fish place near me. That was quite nice last time we went wasn't it? Unless you fancy something different?

Am I strange for actually going to look for restaurants near where to Penny lives?

Clearly they needed someone to keep the others under control. Not that I managed to curb their misbehaviour.

Perhaps with so many languages, he has little room for anything else? He is a very intelligent man but all of us forget things from time to time.

We could try there again. But I was thinking, perhaps somewhere different. As a treat. You have been working yourself very hard, lately, Penny...

No! i've just been looking for churchs near Percy where he and his friend Alan can go practise their Bell Ringing. God bless googlemaps!

You did your best and no-one can fault you for that. And look how well you did in our last year when we had all that fuss and palaver with Sirius Black to contend with on top of everything else.

*doesn't want to argue about it*
That's true. Still, it would be nice if he could get your name right after all the work you put in.

*smiles fondly*
And you haven't? I can have a look around if you like, what sort of food do you fancy? I mean it's not as if we're going to be short of places to eat.

Bell ringing? Excellent! *actually has a good friend who does it* You know there's a society at the Uni for it? Just as a completely random aside.

=sniffs slightly= I tried my best. Not that anyone gave me a hand within the House. Or any praise at the end of it.

=Shakes his head= It really doesn't bother me anymore...

Anywhere you want, but... not curry, please. Not when I have to work the next day. Anywhere but a curry house.

Campanology! And I know, we talked about it once while walking by the church in town. I didn't know there was a society for it though. But I'm slowly adding information on Percy to the character journal, although it's taking me some time!

*looks quite sad*
Oh Percy, but look where you are now, at what you've achieved. Just think, in a few years time, you'll be able to look back and know that they're all working for you and that all your hard work's paid off.

Even so.

*makes a face; she hates spicy food*
I think I can cope with that. There's always Italian, or that Japanese place on the High Street if you really want to walk on the wild side. Honestly though, I'll be quite happy with just a normal cooked meal that's not my dad's microwaved fare. *smiles* The company's more what I'm interested in anyway.

*nods* We can poke them in September if you like at Freshers' Fair. And I saw! I liked! It's really cool, especially with the fun of Google Maps.
