Name: Andromeda Tonks
Format: Diary entry
Date: August 5, 1980
Relevance: Concerns Andromeda's feelings about the death of her cousin Regulus, and hints at her motivations for joining the Order.
James. So good to see you. And please, do call me Andromeda. You say Mrs. Tonks and I look over my shoulder for my mother-in-law.
*makes a weak attempt to smile*
*stops trying*
I...I'll be all right. I just can't stand this anymore. And Sirius. Oh my God, I can't even imagine what this must be doing to him. They grew up together, more than Regulus and I did.
How's he holding up?
I wonder if Andi would know, through Sirius, that the two of them are involved in fighting Voldemort.
*mirrors her smile* He's... well, there's no body count yet.
*wets his lips* You know they left R- the body for him to find?
I would imagine she'd know. James, for sure, has been very open in opposing Voldemort and where James is, it's generally a good bet that Sirius is there too, and vice versa. :)
*clenches and unclenches fists, nails pressing painfully into palms*
*shaking, strangled voice*
When you see him, tell him that if he needs anything, anything, he can Floo me anytime. And tell him--tell him I'll be helping you lot from now on. Any way I can.
*a flash of concern shows briefly on his face* *lightly touches her arm* Mrs Tonks? Andromeda? Are you alright? You're looking after yourself, aren't you?
Does anyone know anything about...who did this? I mean, I see the Dark Lord's filthy fingerprints all over it, but do we know who was his instrument? The paper was less than informative.
*shrugs* We don't know who, or even why. Far as we knew, he was treading the party line. I don't see why they would do this. *glances at her* Had he said anything to you?

I'm all right. Or I will be. I just can't believe the sick and twisted minds of these people, leaving Sirius to find...
*shakes head*
Don't worry about me--it's Sirius I'm worried about.

And I think you being well and in good health will go a long way towards Sirius being okay.

Not a word. I'm not really in the loop, as it were. Until you said they'd left him for Sirius, I thought it might even have been Aurors.
*sighs*
Times like these, I wish I weren't so lousy at Divination. I'd like to know who I need to hex into oblivion.
