(no subject)

life is a challenge right now, and i mean that in the best possible way.

last night i had a minor freakout at mickey's about money, but i finally got my mind off of the subject long enough to take a deep breath and make a to-do list.

i got a bunch of applications at the mall today. i ran into my old manager from gamestop as the manager of EB games, and he said something about firing a bunch of people so in a week i think i could get a job there. i haven't heard back from H&M yet, and i'm pretty sure i botched the second interview with the "uhh i got fired from subway yesterday" comment. i was just trying to be honest! haha. my mom told me to LIE on my job applications from now on and say that i'm still employed at subway and not to call them, and while i entirely hate the idea, i do understand why it is almost a good idea and so that's what i'm going to do i suppose.

i also went to ivy tech with the full intent of registering as a full time student (so i could apply for m4d 104n5), but alas, their needless and endless maze of technicalities and horrible computers drove me out of the building once more. the person i "need" to talk to wasn't in by the time i got there (at 1:45) so i'm going to make the attempt again tomorrow.

i have $19 left on my credit card and i believe i will have to lounge from house to house in fort wayne until i can get a job, otherwise i will be TRAPPED in kendallville and i wouldn't wish that upon anyone.

so right now i have my car, $19, at least three places to stay, student loan opportunities, limited computer access (i'm actually pretending to be an IPFW student at the moment in their library), and a fistful of optimistic thoughts.

wish me luck! and call me. you've all got my digits. and if you don't, 260-582-1714.

later kids!
