[ When another speaks with him on this strange device, Haldir couldn't help but wonder just how many people were trapped inside this seemingly magical stone. ]

So you've escaped the Halls of Mandos only to be sealed away within a stone?

I'm afraid that no one quite knows actually. I'd been on the way home from taking my daughter to the airport when I woke here the first time.

It's a place for travel but yes, exactly. I was killed here. Months ago, according to old friend. I don't remember.

[ At least there's that. Haldir will not like being a human, that's for sure. Something about being "mortal" frightens him greatly despite how fond he truly is of humans. ]

[ He would've lied and said he's doing well, but it's quite obvious Haldir isn't. ]

This realm is not my own and though some have come to my aid thus far, I'm quite reluctant to trust them.

That is probably sound advice. Most of the people here are very nice and very helpful...

[But a friend killed him two months ago. Ripped him apart. Mohinder Suresh is generally stupidly brave but that puts thing in perspective.]

I hardly mean to sound a downer, but it might be wise to select friends carefully.

Betrayal is a crime rarely committed but once done, it sows seeds of distrust and discontent. You would do well to keep watch over those you deem as allies, good sir.
