Arctic Weather at Home...

After a very, very long day (which was long, semi by choice) of working 645am - 345pm at the bank & 430pm - 915pm at Corky's, I finally made my way home. Ahhh, home - to take a refreshing shower and get into bed.... I was excited and exhausted. I walked into the house, and rather than walking into a comfortable, home-like place... I apparently stepped into the Arctic!

It was SOOO cold!!! I went straight to the thermostat and saw that it was 68 degrees, and it wasn't even hot outside... I turned the air back to 72-74 degree setting and continued on my "getting ready for bed" activities...

When I woke this morning, the Arctic Weather had found its way back into my house (68 degrees) and I woke up FREEZING and with a horrible SORE THROAT. I've gotten sick from hanging out in my house - there is something wrong with this picture.

Why is it necessary to keep the thermostat SO low? What's wrong with 72 degrees... if you keep your doors at least cracked during the day, the circulation throughout the whole house will be better and stay cool (PLUS the utility bill / electric bill will be lower) - keep closing your doors all day long and of course you'll be a bit stuffy in there.

Semi-frustrated,
The One with the Sore Throat
and The One Paying Her Own Bills
