Dear Jameus,

Your letter found me well and quickly - as I am simply roaming just now. Isn't that so very nice?

It sounds like you have a very good friend in this Bastian person - anyone who is both intelligent and understanding is a true treasure in life. And if if you wish to remove the Starr crest, feel free. I think that you have more than earned your freedom from that name.

Aro, from the one letter I have received from him, is a malicious little man. He has made it clear, in not so many words, that I am both unwelcome and unwanted - and if I press the issue, I will not have a moment where I am not under his eye. Can he possibly see so much? I imagine it's very unnerving.

You and Tavin look alike in a few ways - I do not think that he will fill out like you did, however. I'm glad you are giving him a chance.

Concerning your question, no, you are not right unless it is a formal duel. You must outline the crime in question beforehand, duel, and then the winner is the one who is right. Otherwise, you have only attacked someone, and done both yourself and them dishonor. From what Sirrus's rather rude letter to me says, you are in the latter category. Do be more careful, next time. You are not everyone else, you are Mo'i'ro, and honor is all that separates us from common thugs and killers.

Love,
