Another busy week...

Woo, am I ever glad that week is done.

Work has been incredibly busy the past few weeks, and though this week was slightly slower, it was still quite hectic. It's almost back to the days before the tech crash from 2000/2001, the tech schools and tech companies having downsized, rightsized and merged to survive, and now they are getting back into the swing of things. And so, they need their technical manuals printed, their school materials printed and everything in between.

Which makes for busy workdays. ^^ Not that I'm complaining overly much, just stating for the record that I'm a busy kitty.

Today started off pretty crummy though, if I am to comment about any one day. The bus I was riding in struck a woman about halfway through the route. I don't know if she was running to catch the bus, or if she was crossing at the crosswalk, but everyone was jolted from their seats as the bus driver applied the brakes extremely hard. He's lucky he didn't have injuries on the bus, it was crowded and there were people standing. The woman seemed to be whole, but was favouring her right side, and was slipping into shock. The bus route goes by two hospitals, and we were about two blocks away or so. The bus driver had us all get out once we reached the hospital, where she was taken away by two paramedics who were curious why the bus was suddenly evacuated. The bus that was ten minutes behind us just drove by without stopping, and the one behind that was crowded... so it was sardine time the rest of the way into work. I just hope she's alright.

In my travels around World of WarCraft, I have taken my character from level 1 to level 19 in just one short week, which isn't too shabby I might say. ^^

I'm going to be setting up a new computer this weekend, and transferring files from this one to the new one. This puppy itself is going to get shipped to Seattle, Washington. I hear there's a kitty who can use one out there. ^^

I am also going to be starting my own company soon. I'll be writing up adventures for various RPG games that I play and gm, creating pdfs of them, and hopefully selling them through DriveThruRPG.com. We'll see how that turns out.
