Oh my goodness.... seriously?!?!?!
SO I am sitting here at the computer, sipping on my morning coffee, enjoying the fact that my puppy pretty much slept through the night (he woke up 10 minutes before my alarm, and I ignored him).
None of the daycare kids were here, my younger two are in the kitchen eating breakfast, and Christian just left for school 10 minutes ago.
Then I hear 'hello' and Danae says from the kitchen "(insert child's name here) is here".
I am surprised because I didn't hear anyone knock or the doorbell ring. I figured perhaps one of my kids was walking by the door and heard someone there. So I wander out to greet this child.
HOWEVER... both my kids were still in the kitchen. The child's grandma was dropping him off and SHE JUST WALKED RIGHT IN!!!! She did not knock or ring the bell!!!! The door was unlocked because Christian had just left... but it was NOT open.
I am totally FLABBERGASTED!!!!!
WHO does that (besides robbers, rapists and opportunists)?!
Should I TRY to overlook this or should I mention to the mom (that if her mom is dropping the child off, I would appreciate if she could knock and wait for me to invite her in)?
I am in total shock.
Sure, they pay me to care for the child... but this is my HOME... you don't just WALK in! My sister doesn't just walk in... LOL... people continue to surprise me... daily :P
