Total DORK!
So apparently I am an accident waiting to happen... wait... change that... if there will be some sort of accident... I will somehow be involved :P
On Saturday I burned my finger while making Strawberry Salad!!! It actually blistered instantly! Strawberry salad is a green salad... yet I BURNED my finger!!! LOL. It calls for candied almonds, which involved putting your almonds in a non-stick fry pan over low heat, and adding sugar... once the sugar melts, you cool the almonds for the salad. Brilliant me tried to push the melted sugar off of the spatula with my finger. Melted sugar is EXTREMELY hot BTW :) After my initial OW!!!! I had to chuckle... only I can burn my finger making salad :P
Today I was talking to my friend on the phone while the kids were napping. As I was talking to her I decided to step out onto my deck. It was BEAUTIFUL out today... sunny & warm, but not too hot or cold. So I opened my patio door and went to step forth onto my deck. Unfortunately my head kinda bounced off the screen :) OOPS!!!
Then tonight my sister calls. It seems that she has been trying desperately to get get ahold of me?! Hmmmmm.
She then tells me that I am missing one of my home phones!!!! HOW would she know such a thing, when I don't even realize that one is missing?!?! Apparently my cordless phone was found in the middle of the road a block and a half away from my house!!!! Thank goodness there is a phone book in it's memory and the wonderful person that found it (in the MIDDLE OF THE ROAD) called my sister. I was able to walk down and pick it up. No harm, no foul... but what the heck?!?!? Who loses their HOUSE PHONE?!?!?!
At least my life has variety :)
