Toilet Paper... AGAIN!

Feb 12, 2009 22:43

Why is it that certain people are so against replacing the toilet paper roll?

It seems that at least 8 times a day (ok, fine! I MAY be exaggerating a little) I find a toilet paper roll empty in my house.

My dear husband (who often goes to Timmies for me on the weekend, even though he does not drink coffee) goes so far as to stack a new roll on TOP of the old roll. The 'old' roll is often not even finished. There is usually at least 6 squares still on the roll.

I can not figure out why he doesn't finish off the first roll, remove it from the holder and replace it with a new one. Instead he takes the new roll, starts using it, then stacks it on top of the existing roll.

Is there some kind of phobia or myth that invokes fear regarding finishing off a roll of toilet paper? Is it his way of ensuring that I have something to do while I relieve myself? How many almost finished rolls would stack up before he decided to finish one off?

And WHY I am sitting here telling you all about toilet paper again?
Because I can :)  tee hee.
