New Year
Happy New Year! Not that one day's any different from the rest just because of the date. And no, I have no New Years Resolutions. I don't really believe in them. If you're only resolving to do something because a new year has begun, it's not a resolution it's just a fad. I am going to start trying to eat better and exercise more. But it's not a New Years Resolution. Just a decision based on what I know I need to do that was spurred on by those around me. (and i wanna impress a guy .... just kidding)
Yet some more work reflections. I promise I won't give you too many more. Or at least I won't tell you they came from work. I never noticed any of the workers at WalMart before, but since I've been working there myself I notice them all over the place. I think it's kind of like how you don't "see" homeless people. Not like i'm saying working at Walmart is as bad as being homeless. But, the workers are there and no one notices them because they don't need them. It's interesting the people we don't see.
The place I work also recycles. Plastic and Cardboard. Now I'm not a vegetarian, I havne't gone green, and I don't know what's endangered where. But I like that I can do something to "help the planet" so I seperate all the plastic and cardboard so they can be reused. Other people don't. I don't understand that. If it only takes a minimal amount of effort to do it why not? simply because it does take some effort?
I've also come to the conclusion that I'm not a nice person, but I am courteous. I have a general dislike of humanity and don't go out of my way to talk or help others. I will go out of my way to make sure I don't do anything that would inconveience others though.
And I want to see This Movie: http://www.ifilm.com/video/2778156 Because it has David Bowie in it. :) Well, his voice anyway. What can I say, I'm Hopeless. That man will be sexy forever.
