I have never groaned so much in 45 minutes.
I have nothing to say about the most recent episode of Doctor Who, Evolution of the Daleks (Part 2 of Daleks in Manhattan). Except that I am so happy that the next episode marks a significant shift from the last three episodes. The last three episodes have been some of the worst writing I have seen in a long time: illogical, facile, trite, cheesy, maladroit, simplistic, and quite frankly tangibly lazy. The next episode looks intriguing (and a needed departure from the last three episodes), it looks to be an episode building some character development for Martha and stars the delightful Mark Gatiss.
The worst part is people seem to be loving these episodes and I just don't get it at all. Then again, most of the people who take their time to write about it on LiveJournal are probably fanboy/girls so may not be the best sample. I would have rather worked on my Division III, honestly. Which is exactly what I'm going to do right now.
