Zweite Feder [Action: The Church]

Oct 07, 2011 13:38

-Given it wasn't Sunday or Wednesday, the Church was largely empty in the evening. Save, of course, for a few individuals. One of which was a strange, winged girl with a long tail. She sat at the piano, playing and singing a familiar and beautiful song for anyone that was present to hear it. She seemed so serene... Something about being in a place ( Read more... )

[Quiet and courteous clapping will come from the side, once Dizzy's done. Goodness, it's been a while... The last time someone's really done anything musical here was last year? A choir would be a nice thing to have, but Ciel herself honestly lacked the time and skills to organize something as such.]

Goodness. You have an Angel's voice, miss Dizzy.

Ah, Frau Ciel... I just saw the piano and thought to play, really. Pfarrer Nightroad suggested it would be a good idea.

You're very talented at both. I can't play at all, so I'm glad that someone is making good use out of it instead of letting it sit in disuse. ...I do try to keep the dust from accumulating with time, however. It's not sounding off anywhere, is it?

I made certain to tune it before I started playing... Though the key is rather old. I thought it would break.

I'm afraid that I know very little on how to maintain something like this, I'm sorry. Are they replaceable?

I think we should consider finding a professional tuner, actually... If either of us do this, we're likely to wind up breaking it at some point.

I wouldn't dream of trying, and that would be a good idea, yes. This town has all sorts of people with different skills and abilities, so maybe we'll be able to find someone. Would you like to make the call, or should I?

Ah, I'm a bit busy, lately, actually... Making a dress.

Is that so? For what occasion, if I may ask, and what kind of dress? [If you see her eyes light up a bit...

...It's just your imagination.]

How's it coming along? Have you found the materials that you needed, and a design that you're happy with? [mO_Om...]

It's a pattern I had memorized from back home. Material was surprisingly easy to come by. -Ciel heard that first part right. Memorized. Something as complex as a sewing pattern.-

[oh snap.]

Memorized? My... That's remarkable. [She is mildly astonished! The wings did tip it off already, but she's starting to wonder a bit what sort of being Dizzy is.] Does it hold a special significance to you?

Not particularly, no. I just thought it would look nice.

Patterns aren't easy things to memorize, though. Your memory must be amazing! How's it coming along?

Ah, well, perhaps for humans... I am gifted in more ways than just physically, you see. I can memorize short books as well. Word for word.
