but this is actually kinda cool. and functional. see, the functionality is tied in to your cell. you SMS (and by "SMS" i mean "text"... sorry, i hang out with a lot of desis. and by "desis" i mean "indians". and by "indians" i mean dots, not feathers.)

you SMS the dodgeball.com number your location. and then it tells are your friends in that metro area where you are. so like, say i'm out for drinks with joe at madam's organ... and shaner's out at asylum, he gets a note that we're down the street and we meet up. kinda cool. plus you can get addresses of places.
there's also some weird shit about crushes er whatever. but that's kinda creepy stalkerish.
but they do help you keep on it. i have a lot of SMSs on my plan, and free to other verizon, so the majority of the ones i make (to the lady) don't count. so i let this thing SMS me. and on friday and saturday night, it's all "hey, what's up?" so i tell it where i am.
it appears to be in only major metro areas.
oh and the coolest thing is, you log in with your gmail.
