The day he’d been dreading had arrived: the day he ran out of money.
Guy had been keeping close count of what he had left, so he knew that it was only a matter of time before he couldn’t keep up with the cost of his hotel room and had to go out on the streets. Just as he had started to get settled in and comfortable, it was time to leave.
Oh well.
Luckily, some furniture or something had been shipped to a nearby building, so he was able to nick a large wooden crate and take it to an alley a few streets away before anyone noticed. After filling it with pillows and blankets stolen from the hotel, it almost seemed homey! Sure, it was kind of small, but so was he. And it was mostly just a place to sleep, anyway-- he could always just loiter around town whenever he didn’t want to sit in his box. And then, he could look to see if the school had showers, so he wouldn’t get too smelly... being a hobo wouldn’t be too bad, he assured himself.
He leaned back into his pile of ill-gotten bedding and sighed. There was still the matter of food to worry about... he hoped the people of this city were wasteful. Some dumpster diving would be in order soon.
((tl;dr: Guy is officially a hobo! He will now be spending a lot less time hiding under his bed and a lot more time wandering the streets in search of spare change.))
super hobo powers go!,
