Multiple Wanks
Been in Hetalia for a year now and I’ve some problems with the fanon and fandom. (Sorry if I offended anyone with this rant. First time posting so enlighten me if something is wrong.)
Romano
Holy Shit.
What is with people hating and bashing Romano?
Yes I know he’s all tsundere and has a foul mouth, but he does have a soft side and genuinely cares for Spain’s and his brother’s well being.
However in the fanworks I’ve seen people completely turn his character into a domestic abuser who slaps, punches, kicks and even rapes Spain so he wouldn’t leave him for someone else (mostly France or England). Let’s also not forget the fanfics where Romano actually rapes and tortures North Italy to "keep him in check" and "away from the potato bastard" (re: Germany).
To my astonishment, there is an fanfic on FF.net where Romano gets jealous that Spain is spending all his time with Latvia instead of him and he decides to rape the poor little Baltic as a “lesson”. What.
Sweden/Finland
I’m probably going to get flamed for this…but I don’t like SuFin. Why? It mostly has to do with characterization. Mainly Finland’s.
I dislike how Finland is like depicted as some Purity Sue who’s incredibly nice, incredibly well mannered, and incredibly weak who needs Sweden to help with EVERYTHING. Not mention needs to be “saved” from “evil” Denmark. Plus the whole “Russia stole Finland from Sweden” is nonsense. Finland willing left on his own to live with Russia. He even said in canon that he felt more ‘free’ there.
Uke!Britain
Um…you’re telling that Britain, once the famed British Empire, which controlled a considerable percentage of Africa, India and other colonies…

Seriously where did this come from?
Twins and Incest
How come people are still saying that Romano and Italy are twins even though it’s been established that they aren’t since South Italy is 23 and N. Italy is 20? Same thing with America and Canada - they have separate birthdays and whatnot.
The incest pairings… I don’t ship them.
Well, for starters, they are brothers, and I do not support sibling/sibling relationships that are related.
Yeah, they are hot, and they do have opposite personalities. Yet, which character/pairing in Hetalia doesn't? Yes, I do like these characters...BUT not as a fucking pairing.
Second, after some bullshit I went through on FF.net and deviantArt, I was so mad that I just had to bring this up.
