About that perverted Frenchman
Okay, this is something I've been wanting to bring up for quite some time, but I didn't really think the hetalia comm was appropriate for it 'cause you know, I think this is kind of controversial, in a way.
I know this question is going to sound silly, but I might as well ask it.
When writing France, do you really have to make him speak french? Like phrases (or even sentences) of French to keep him in character?
That's the impression I'm getting from the fandom.
Since I don't know any French (/sob/), I usually refrain from writing about him. I don't write what I don't know. So the ideas I do have that relate to him (like this one France/Italy thing that was supposed to be for another comm), I've put them on hold 'cause yeah, I don't want to go through that extra step when I don't really need to. ):
