My first non-official purchase was a Russia/America doujinshi. I absolutely loved the artist, it was in English, and it's what got me into the pairing. Sadly I don't think she's in the fandom anymore. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v415/hotgimmick/0130110100-00.jpg
My first official purchase....hmm. I think it was these 5 guys. http://pics.livejournal.com/jevia/pic/000085wh The one coins are pretty easy to get, so right off the bat I snatched some up.
My favorite possessions; I have a "Russian Alphabet" poster with Ivan, which was hard to get my hands on, a set of tarot cards I haven't seen pop up elsewhere (no knowledge about them at all, not sure if they're even hard to find), a set of Ryoko charms (regular country versions), and my older Canada-centric doujinshi which are difficult to find.
For some reason my Canada Nanja badge was the most giant pain in the ass out of everything to get. ~_~;;
