Name/nickname: Jessica
Age: 18
Gender: F
Homecountry: Canada but I live in the US right now
Language/s: English, 8 years of French so far..but I'm still not fluent! haha., Mandarin (can't write, nor read very well but speaking wise I am pretty fluent), and I'm going to start learning German next semester :)

So the problem is this, I can ramble on and on about myself and make this section at least two pages long buuuut....that would be really really boring to read. So here is an abridged version of my "about me."

I am a university student studying biochemistry at UW-Madison and loving it. I am a huge biology nerd and I have a love/hate relationship with chemistry at the moment. I have an incredibly large number of hobbies such as ultimate Frisbee, tennis, cooking, cosplay, photography, ceramics(scuplturing), winter sports, canoeing, power napping, the list goes on....
I play the violin, acoustic and electric guitars, piano (although I suck at it), and I am planning on learning the alto saxophone.
I enjoy watching movies and I'm up for any genre except for western. Some of my favorite films are: The Godfather, Rain Man, Chinatown,  Up, Kill Bill, American Graffiti, The Sting, and Borat.
I watch a lot of random crap on TV, such as the food network and the discovery channel. I actually really like the documentaries on the discovery channel like the one about Nostradamus. And if you have seen Planet Earth, please tell me so we can discuss the hilarity of the birds of paradise.

About Hetalia. I like most of the characters but Prussia, Austria, France, Hungary, and Spain especially. I fell in love with the show the moment Italy went "PASTAAAAAAAA~!!!!!" XDDD This fandom has been great so far and I think I'll love Hetalia for a very long time.

I live in Wisconsin. We have much cheese[cows], beer, and bratwursts. I live in Madison and held here is the world's largest brat fest XD it's an awesome event, brats are love. But I still love beavertails and poutine! Obama just visited Madison again yesterday but it wasn't an university event so alas, I didn't get to meet him.
I am open to penpals from anywhere and everywhere; I would love to talk about culture, languages, anything! Emails would work the best for me right now as I still haven't figured out how to mail things overseas. Emails will also allow me to attach many of my photos :D because I love exchanging pictures!

Bratfest!
