Because I think I'm going to do a couple of my own requests to kind of help along with the request freeze, but I'd be too embarrassed if it was like a trail of my requests all in one shot.I have quite a few requests orz

Not to mention I'm an art fag which makes it worse.

I've seen it done before (and am considering doing it myself as well). I don't think there is anything wrong with it unless you post the request *just* so you can fill it on the kink meme. But that really doesn't sound like the case with you. :)

Since you're an artist!anon, I really think you should! A lot of art fills seem to inspire us writer!anon types to write something for fills that have been previously ignored.

A-Ahaha, I'm really glad I'm not the only one! I really wanted to as well, especially since I had quite a bit of requests myself. XD;; Most of which have not been filled, or only midway filled and I had a bunch of ideas for it and... BAWWW, yeah, I just felt kind of embarrassed. Glad others do it too though.

I, personally, haven't done anything like that(even though I've considered it multiple times), but I've done something sorta similar.

My friend had a lot of little drabbles of countries masturbating, and thinking that her fics should get noticed, I posted a request for Nation-tan's masturbating.

But I must admit, I was infact the one that first seconded on that request. XD;;;

Only about half of my 18 requests have been filled, and of those fills half were by me. Not because I had a fic and wanted to post it on the kink meme, but because I posted the request on the kink meme and not only did no one fill it (or make any move to fill it!) but I got an idea.

Often this was because the request was kind of, er, rare (eg http://hetalia-kink.livejournal.com/9482.html?thread=12286218#t12286218 , best summarized as "Canada and America, fun and kilts at a Highland Games!").
