Original Request: Tony is the personification of all the genuinely alien (i.e. outer space) minorities in America. But since most aliens aren't allowed to be who they are(aliens) and are forced the U.S. government to disguise themselves as other minorities.
So in the late 21st-early 22nd century, the alien-Americans come out, and demand their rights as American citizens and be allowed to practice their culture freely and publicly.(Change "All men are created equal"to "All sentient beings are created equal.") The alien's Civil Rights Movement is successful and Aliens-Americans are accepted into mainstream American society. As result America absorbs Tony and sprouts cute little antennae on his head.
Summary: Aliens want to be accepted as who they are and American citizen and they are successful, causing America to absorb Tony into himself.
Summary: To say that England is "unsettled" by America's new appearance would be putting it lightly.
