Original Request: Sometime in the future, America becomes an empire, much like the British/French/German/Everyone else's empires in earlier times. But that age ended and the world has returned to a state more like today. I'd like to see America recovering from his time as an Imperial power and readjusting to the world, reacquainting himself with other nations (perhaps some of whom he conquered) and just generally settling down after his bout of the empire bug.
Um, I'd prefer it if the other nations don't hate him too badly, even if they were conquered. Mistrust is fine, but since most of the Europeans have been empires at some point, I can't see them holding it against him.
