Original Request: France taking care of a young, grumpy England, around the time of the Norman Conquest. I know in canon they're the same age (with the strip about France cooking for England in mind)... but I can't get the image of irritable child!England and parent!France out of my mind. I imagine their relationship would be just as bad as usual, but eventual family-fluff would also be welcomed.
Bonus if the story is framed by America and Canada asking about the past of the two nations.
Summary: America asks France to tell him how he and England first met. It isn't a simple question to answer, however.
