Curled up in a ball and making as little noise as he could was young Roderich, who had cleverly hidden himself underneath one of the slides. That vulgar Prussian boy had been taking dried paste off of his hands and has been throwing it at Roderich's head all morning! Roderich hated those bullies. In the comfort of the classroom, there was at least a teacher who would stop them if they were out of hand, but the playground was a merciless place. The dreaded toll of the recess bell had caused Roderich to quickly sprint out of the classroom, narrowly escaping Gilbert, and hide in his latest hiding spot.

The roar of children laughing and running about soon settled in, and Roderich began to hear the thumping noise of happy students flowing down the slide. Although it might have been scary for a newcomer to the 'under-the-slide' hiding spot, it did not bother Roderich. He had spent many a recess situated in this very place, and was quite thankful that the 'Bad Touch Trio', as they called themselves (Roderich could never understand why they had chosen such barbaric name for their group) had yet to find him here.

Now Roderich simply had to wait for the next bell to sound, and for recess to finally end.

He automatically clung to the Prussian boy when he stood up to cuddle him with a big smile. That tripping was so cute...!

"Gilly, what took you so long?! Francis and I have been waiting for forever... You haven't been checked the girls bathroom again, have you...? Without us?!..."

He giggled and jumped from the jungle to rummage around the slides, as he always did. This way he could easily face his friends while talking. He grabbed his sandwich (With extra ration of tomato) from his pocket and began to much it happily. Hm, his mother was the best cooking...

"Smh! Fwat are fue fona do tofey?!"

Yes, he was talking with his mouth full...

Francis laughed when Gilbert tripped. That had been priceless! The blond climbed down quickly to join his friends at the bottom. "Gil, you should have been at art with us earlier! I helped Arthur get um, prettier. Yeah. Glue in his hair." He giggled at this recollection and rubbed his palm on Gilbert's cheek to get the dirt off his cheek, but only succeeded in smearing it. Oh well. Gil looked cooler this way.

"Ew, Antonio!" Francis crinkled his nose when he saw his friend talking with his mouth full. He scooted away slightly lest he get food spewed on his clothes or something. "Today we should go play with Arthur." That never got old for Francis. "Or maybe Roderich. Where does his disappear to during recess, anyway?"

Gilbert laughed. Antonio hit the dot on the nose or the nail on the head or whatever the hell those expressions were. "I so did! I went right in there and the girls were all screaming and stuff. I saw one of 'em fixing her hair." He nodded, as if this was priceless information, only to be stopped mid-nod by Francis' hand.

"Ughh, get awwuufff.." Gilbert swatted at his hand, ducking, but it was too late. Man, he hoped Francis hadn't licked his hand and done that first. His mother did that all the time, and it was just gross. ..nah, his cheek wasn't wet this time. "I dunno where Roderich went. I searched all over for him."

He chuckles happily, Gilbert was so funny sometimes... Francis was funny too, and he liked to hug him too!... they were his best friends. He reeeally hoped they wouldn't have to be apart when they grow up. That would make him sad. He gulped the food down, he didn't want to make Francis mad.

"That must have been fun. Girls are so weeeeird..."

He jumped around... for no reason, really. He was just so exited AND THEY JUST HAD A LIMITED TIME OF RECESS SO THEY BETTER MAKE THE MOST OF IT.

"I saw Arthur earlier when I was running here... but I don't have any idea about the glasses guy. Maybe he's hiding but... were...?"

He looked around, there weren't many places where a kid could hide and he (along with his friends) checked them all daily...

Francis scowered the playground the best he could from where he was standing. He saw girls playing jump rope, some younger children playing in the sandbox, kids at the monkey bars, and running around playing tag. But no sign of Roderich. He wasn't sure where Arthur was at the moment either, but going to pick on him now when he was still upset about the improvement on his hair might be boring.

They had better think of something to do quickly though, recess would be over before they knew it. Hm. "Let's just go look for them then." Even if they didn't find either of the boys, they could still have fun. If anything, there were plenty of skirts to lift and flower-printed panties to make fun of.
