This is wowwww. I love the way you colored it, especially his head - and how the setting is just .. snow and there's no discernable anything and he could be anywhere, he is everywhere and aaah. ;__; ♥

Ah, well I'm a giant General Winter fangirl, so-- this drawing is just amazingly representative of the nature of his relationship with Russia - and yes. <3333 Kudos-!!

Besides the bleakness, I have to say my favorite things are all the details

The tinge of blood on his cuffs, scarf, and very edge of his coat. The little tuft of snow on his head. Gives it this great, grim feeling.

It's all just so amazing. Good on ya, man.

This is wonderful.

I think what I like best is - something about his face, his eyes, his expression. He has the kind of look of one who would attempt such a thing.

A technical question: What medium is this? For the most part, it looks like marker, but some parts look digital.

I love drawing Russia *__* I used to worry that my interpretation of him was too scary/dark/serious... but I like him that way. OTL

This is copic marker, for almost all of it-- minus the snowflakes, some of the blood (some is actually marker too) and the gradient.

Ahhh, Copics! I have considered trying them, but I draw so rarely that it would not be worth the investment. I must say, you handle them very well.

As for your interpretation of Russia, it's one I quite like (then again, I absolutely love Russia, so I am biased =p )

Ohh, this is beautiful.

Although I am forced to wonder _exactly whose blood that is_. Which is funny, because I don't usually wonder that. It's just so typical to see him smeared in blood--it's like his default look. But in the middle of nowhere like that, trying to kill winter...
