Picking mushrooms in the forest is one of the most usual hobbies for the older generations around here.

Mushroom picking is common where I live as well, but it seemed strange to say that in a Valley girl accent. ^^;; It's the wrong demographic, I suppose.

The west coast, anywhere from the Bay area and northwards. I think there are quite a few places in the U.S. that have them, though. You just need to look. :)

STARFRUITTTT -- I hear if you eat too much of it, a chemical in the seeds can become poisonous! .... I'd wager it's worth the risk.

HOW APPROPRIATELY MACABRE. (Apparently, besides in the pit of the peach, arsenic can be found in canned peaches..?) I'm sure you've heard that apple seeds contain a cyanide compound too, right? Apparently through a description in a suicide note, cyanide is found to burn and taste sour. ... So heads-up, if you're eating apples. XD ... Lucky for you, I think for the moment I've forgotten anything else. Go, eat in peace.

Too embarrassed to say. XD Your threads are fun to read, and how.
