RoChu Secret Santa Exchange!
Hello Everyone! At least 30 people expressed interest in the Secret Santa so might as well get the party started so all of you can have enough time for the Christmas Exchange. Most of the information here is copy-pasta'd from RoChu Secret Santa Exchange LiveJournal group. They were the first one to host a RoChu Secret Santa ^^

When do I post?
Posting begins on December 25, 2013 and ends January 6, 2014. So if you don't finish by Christmas day exactly, you still have a bit of time. Though it is always best to finish it before posting date.
How do you join

You are allowed to post anywhere, but please try to post it before December 30th. When you post it, please indicate somewhere in your post who your recipient is and make sure they read/receive their gift from you.
However, before December 25th, don't reveal yourself to your recipient. That'll just ruin the fun! If you have questions you want to ask them, but can't do it anonymously, contact xblkdragonx and she'll do it for you!
What is a Secret Santa Exchange?
A Secret Santa Exchange is basically an exchange of fanworks. You'll do one fanwork in exchange for one for yourself.
How does it work?
Everyone who participates is required to fill out a form; sign ups are open until November 16, 2013 at 12:00 AM (USA Pacific time), and when sign ups are closed everyone will be assigned to someone within a few days.
When do I post?

Where can I post it?
Post it anywhere, as long as you make sure your recipient sees it. There's no point if they don't know they receive something ^^
What fanworks can I do?
You can do either: fanart, fancomics or fanfics.
What are the requirements?
Well it has to be RoChu that is pretty much the only general requirement. It doesn't have to be romantic, they can just be the best of buds if you so desire, but I get the feeling more people than not want to read about them on a romantic level. You can also definitely hint towards or make heavy allusions to other pairings, but RoChu has to be the focal point.
Fanart/ Fancomics: Clean work. Nothing sketchy. It can be done in any medium you want. Please submit in the highest resolution possible as well. You can image host on tinypic and imageshack and they won't automatically resize your big pics. Plus you don't need to log in!!! XDDDDDD
Fanfics: Minimum of 1000 words. No drabbles. There is no maximum word count make it as long as you want. Please make sure to proof read your work, hand it off to your beta, etc. You're writing this for someone else so you want to be nicely written out, so they can enjoy the fic to the max.
Also keep in mind if you are making a specific request, something another person might not be familiar with or want historical references, that you should give some links that the author can use to brush up on some knowledge to write you an awesome fic or draw you something spiffy.
What if it gets to be too much?
You can always drop out if need be. I know we all have lives and can't write RoChu as much as we want to, so I completely understand if you need to drop out. Please just let me know as soon as you encounter problems. RoChu is a smaller community compared to the other shipping fandoms, so we want to give the authors, who are willing to pick up some slack, as much time as possible.

Miscellaneous information
+ You do not have to do both requests. The reason 2 requests were required was so that you would have an option between the two when it came to writing just in case one idea didn't work for you.
+ You can do both if you want to, and are up for the task
+ Pinch-hitter is someone who is willing to fill in if a person is to drop out of the secret santa project.
+ You do not have to the ratings a person says in the form unless they specifically state they want that rating. If you're comfortable with only doing PG stuff, and I assigned you someone who said in the max. rating they would acccept is M, you do not need to go past your PG comfort zone. That's just as far at the requester would like it to go, but you most certainly do NOT have to go that high.
