Dude I'm seeing it now, too. They look really good together visually. (Time to head over to Pixiv! Mwahaha...) Personality wise... I dunno. I have a hard time imagining Germany flirting with girls! Hima hasn't ever depicted him showing any interest in girls, so...

Maybe if Italy tried teaching him? I think that would make a good comic strip... Might depress the GerIta fan in me, but would end up hilarious nonetheless. ;)

Honestly I don't think we can say Germany has no interest in girls from what we've seen in canon. I mean, really, the man is so socially awkward that he doesn't really know how to flirt. Germany trying to hint at his feelings for anyone, male or female, would be awkward and adorable ;3; Whenever he actually was aware of his own feelings himself. Poor guy, someone needs to teach him what social interaction is. Besides, it's not like he's really got too many options around him for girls to interact with for us to see if he has any interest in girls. I mean, really, he's mostly just interacted with Hungary so far, and it'd make sense for him to mentally list her as off limits for fear of pissing Austria off, since Austria is one of his few friends, and regardless of whether it's the case or not (my ridiculous fangirl side says it is but that's besides the point), it probably looks like they're still together to Germany, too ( ... )
