Sorry for being gone for ages, guys! And thanks for being patient. --- When America returned, grocery bags in hand, Canada was walking around the kitchen in his pajamas, hair a mess, wearing overlarge sunglasses. It was quite a sight.
Canada turned at the sound of his brother's chuckle. "What?" he asked.
"Nothing," America said, grinning, and hefted the bags onto the dining table. "Brought some more things to help you out."
"What is all that?" Canada leaned over the table, brow furrowed slightly.
"Remedies and shit. You know, apples, limes, tomato juice..."
Canada looked at him.
"Yeah." --- Sometime later, the boys were sitting around the table and discussing the weather. What a boring--and cliche--subject. Canada was nibbling absently at the tip of a banana, and America was finding it increasingly difficult to speak coherently.
"So...thing...with the clouds, 'n'..."
"...Eh?"
America coughed, and stood abruptly. "Do you mind if I make some coffee?"
"Not at all. Are...you alright?"
"'Course!" America answered, a little too quickly. --- "So...What. Are you just going to stick around here all day?"
"I was planning on it, yeah."
"Why?"
"'Cause last night kinda wasn't awesome, and I thought we should hang out. Have fun. Without beer."
Canada laughed a bit. His headache had practically vanished, and the light didn't bother his eyes so much anymore. "Okay," he said with a soft smile. America could have melted on the spot. --- Alright. Not the greatest Part Five ever. More (and hopefully better) parts to come! Meanhwile, Authornon must sleep. t__t
