The Adventure to IHOP [2/2]

Arthur wasn’t quite sure how Alfred had managed to do it, but he had ended up packing him into his car, and driving off in search of IHOP.
"This is gonna be so awesome! We’ll have so many kinds of pancakes it’s unimaginable, even some of those crepes that Francis makes, and you may have eaten there before but I doubt you’ve had this one AMAZING pan-"
"You’re going the wrong way!"
"What? Of course I’m not! I know your land pretty well, Arthur, I can find a simple IHOP, I am the hero after all! I like the sound of that, Alfred, the pancake hero!"
Arthur sighed and slid down in his passenger seat, waiting for all of this to finally be over…
So, the two nations found themselves in the middle of a thick, dark forest, with the sun beginning to set.
"Alfred, you’ve got us so lost that I don’t even know where we are, and this is my country!" his voice was beginning to rise, and so did Alfred’s.
Soon they were in a yelling fit at each other, after all, boys will be boys, even if they are full-grown men, and it was all over a simple search for delicious breakfast pastries.
"Let me drive, Alfred! You’ll just get us more lost!"
"No, knowing you, you’ll drive us to some old quiet restaurant with no taste at all!"
"I actually enjoy IHOP, thank you very much, so just park and let me take the wheel!"
"You’ll have my entire McDonald’s franchise before that happens!"
He… he was ready to give up one of his most famous burger franchises? Arthur sighed and sat back in his seat, allowing Alfred to keep driving, the woods couldn’t be all that big after all…
That’s when they found some… complications.
Also know as Alfred blindly driving into a tree. "…That villianous tree!" He immediately leapt from the car and proceeded to kick the bark off of the poor tree. "That’ll teach you to wreck my car!"
Arthur couldn’t help but want that medicine again…
A toolbox and a chainsaw to cut down said villainous tree later, at least two hours had passed since leaving Arthur’s house. Arthur had resorted to banging his head against the dashboard, wanting to just go home to his fairies and unicorns…. He meant tea and novels!
With a quick return to the car, Alfred began driving again, this time at least twice as fast as before! That last smack to the dashboard hurt like Hell…
Eventually, Alfred had hit three more trees and almost hit an unsuspecting dog, wandering through.
"That’s it!" While Alfred was out of the car, checking on the poor canine, Arthur slid into his seat, and honked the horn. "Get in, we’re going!"
"Y-Yes sir!" Alfred stumbled into shot gun and barely missing the puppy, they flipped a U-turn and headed out of the woods.
"You’re hungry." It was a statement, not a question, but Alfred nodded his response anyway.
"And I’m hungry. I don’t care where we eat, I’ll even eat… a burger, as long as we eat."
"Take a right up ahead and there’s a little old burger joint~" Alfred said, seemingly calm with a grin on his face. Arthur, turning into the fast food place’s parking lot, finally had a sickening realization.
