If You Were Gone (6/7)

Poland said nothing. Most likely, he wasn’t able to or he just didn’t want to. Though his lips didn’t move, his eyes spoke for them and Lithuania could see one word being repeated.
Why?
Lithuania looks away and finishes undressing. There's no more fighting.
My theory is, Lithuania, if you were close to person before and hurt it, punishment and care mean more to person. I wouldn’t know. Nobody is close to me.
It looked like Russia’s theory was right. Lithuania had fought back against Russia for months and months until he learned it was better to just let it be done and over quickly. Poland it had only taken a few hits. This had done more than just physically hurt him. He would have to explain to Poland later how all of this really was out of love. There were so many ways to show your love.
He decided to flip Poland onto his stomach, entry that way would be much easier. This time, Poland did start to move around. Tried to make it hard for Lithuania to enter him, but Lithuania gripped onto his hips tightly and Poland only whimpered something that sounded like “Stop. Please. I love you…”
“I love you, Poland,” he murmured as he started to go inside him. It was tight and now Poland was screaming. There had been no preperation and Lithuania wasn’t thinking about trying to be gentle. It was hard when Poland wasn’t relaxing and he had to grit his teeth and put some force into his push.
“If you’ll relax, this can get done.”
“No…!” That word made Lithuania go harder and finally have himself completely inside Poland, who was beginning to cry and sob.
The thrusts weren’t fast at first, Poland was just too tight and it made it hard to move. It wasn’t until he felt Poland start to bleed that he picked up an actual rhythm while Poland begged with mumbles and swollen lips.
Lithuania smiled and took a hand to gently caress it along his back.
“Did you know…” He pulled out. “That when Russia did this, I tried to imagine it was you?” He thrusted back with one movement and Poland screamed. “It didn’t work well because you wouldn’t be able to do something like this. Russia also had a habit of giggling while he tried to show me his love. It was scary. Sex with you had never been scary.
“But.” Another thrust and another scream. Being inside Poland felt good, but that wasn’t really the first thought on his mind. “Every time he hurt me, I thought of you. How you made me…laugh.” And another thrust and Poland’s sob hurt his ears. “Smile. You made me happy even though you could be really selfish. You still…still had times where you were nice and thought about me. You made me so happy, Poland.”
His mind drifted to the times when he and Poland had been younger, when they had always found the time to go out to the rye fields to have some fun. He had dreamt of the sun-warmed fields while he had been in Russia’s frozen lands. Had thought about Poland’s smiling face, calling him ‘Liet’ and telling him how they were best friends.
“I only came once when Russia did this to me. It was the only time where thinking about you worked. I guess I lied before. It did work once.” He stopped moving and let Poland’s haggard breaths ring in his ears. Bending over, he pressed a kiss to the back of Poland’s neck. “It was then I realized I loved you. We had always said we loved each other, we even had sex. But I think we were just friends then. Absence makes the heart grow fonder was what Mr. America told me once.”
He began moving again and Poland only pleads. “I talked about you a lot to him. To Mr. America, I mean. How much you meant to me and about our memories. He felt really bad for me and promised that one day, I’d be with you again. He was right, I’m with you now.” His movements became faster. “But you want to leave me and that can’t happen!” Faster. More sobs. “I love you!” It looks like Poland has torn the pillow he’s been holding onto. “You’re the reason why I’m still standing! I love you! I love you! I love you!” He repeats the endearment as he pushes inside and blood is trickling down onto their blankets. Blood is easy enough to get out of things and so he doesn’t worry about that. Instead he only thinks about making sure Poland understands what he’s saying with each push, each ‘I love you’, and each ‘don’t leave me’.

When he comes, he makes no sound and he can’t even hear Poland crying. His mind goes silent and when noise finally comes back to him, he can still hear Poland’s cries, but he can only really think about how he has done what he had to. Now Poland won’t leave him.
He pulls out and he’s covered with Poland’s blood. It’s a disgusting feeling and since he’s already decided not to worry about the stains in their blankets, he wipes himself and Poland off.
Pulling Poland back around to hold him, to smile and tell him the hard part is over, Lithuania sees Poland looking the worst he ever has. Worse than he’s looked even after wars and battles. His eyes are so swollen and red from his sobbing and his entire face is red. The bruises had developed more and the puffiness in his face was bizarre looking.
Poland doesn’t let him hold him at first, trying to push him away, but Lithuania pays that no mind and really, Poland can’t do much to fight against it. So he holds him to his chest and kisses his head. Poland is stiff and isn’t holding him back.
“I know. It hurts. I’ve been there. But it’s okay. You’ll be okay. I love you and that’s all you need. Just like how your love is all I need. We don’t need anything else. We can just be here together, just the two of us. It’ll…it’ll be perfect. We’re like one.”
The beautiful moment is ruined when Poland’s cell phone rings. It’s some tacky sounding song and Lithuania reaches over to Poland’s purse that’s near the bed to get it.
“Hello?” He doesn’t bother to see who’s calling.
“Hey, Lithuania! It’s me! Italy?”
“…Oh. Why are you calling?”
“Um, well, Poland was supposed to be here a while ago and I’m still waiting, you see. So I was kind of worried something went wrong. Is he there? Is he okay?”
“Poland got sick, Italy. He won’t be going out with you any time soon.” He lays back down and idly runs his hair through Poland’s hair.
“Ve! Sick? No! Will he be okay?”
“After some rest. But I don’t think Poland will ever be hanging around you again.”
“W-why?”
Lithuania smiles. “It doesn't matter.”
He hangs up as Italy asks him what he means and holds Poland again, affectionately stroking his swollen cheeks as he tells him how much he loves him.
---- That's it. I usually don't write things like this (I'm more of a fluffy romance, humor, and friendship fic kind of person), so I'm sorry if I didn't do this very well. I hope some of you enjoyed it, though!
oh my god author anon!!! That was so heartbreaking!! It was even better than I imagined it would be, and hearing Liet's way of thinking about things (oh, the blood's not bad, it'll wash off) was really chilling and just... gah. I am one very happy OP. Thank you!~ *showers you with rainbows and internets*

I was about to go to bed when I saw this and thought, "...Ok. One more."
And god, it was so...bone-chilling and mind-numbing, I don't even know. Just completely insane. And? I loved it. Now what does that say about me? Haha But really that was like. Gah. I can hardly form words. Amazing...in a creepy kind of way ^^;
