Canada blanched at the cheery way the sentence was said, and he can feel his cheeks going red and was glad that his back was facing his guest. What in the world is he trying to say-
Is he being blunt? Is this some sort of weird confession? (Canada couldn't say because no one ever really confessed to him before, and if they did, they probably think he was America, or it was confessing to wanting to beat the crap out of him, while thinking he was America. Oh such a sad sad life.)
"All this maple syrup you keep serving me makes everything sticky~~ But oh so yummy! Ve!"
Canada gave a sigh of relief.
Really, Italy should stop spending so much time with Austria. (You'd think he gets lessons from Austria.)
___ I don't know why Italy is with Canada either. The first line just reminded me of Italy or maybe a drunk!Arthur so much and resulted into this. Sorry if it's so short. I really wanted to make this longer and maybe smuttier, but i can't do smut, but my brain's dead, so it just this lame and short. First fill ever, omg. No, it's definitely not weird. 8D I have a weird fetish for the odd or unlikely pairings, so I'm glad I could convert you too. XDDD I made an omake too it~~ And thanks for enjoying this! X3
...because I realize Canada didn't say a thing. XD And I just couldn't leave it there, so I had to use what remains of my brain to do this. ;-; ___

After that, maple syrup wasn't the only thing Canada had to wash from his pants.
_____ I originally had more narration to it, but I decided to leave (mostly) just the dialogue so I can leave you to imagine your own version of what happened. XD
INNOCENT ENDING: Italy decided to pour maple syrup on Canada's pants too. And some pasta sauce, because Italy made some pasta.
(LOL as soon as I read this, the scene (from the movie "Elf") where Buddy puts syrup all over his spaghetti came to mind. I would have started laughing out loud - REALLY loudly - if it weren't 1:15 A.M.. :3 ) Yup. My mind connects practically everything to Hetalia now. lD It is wonderfully entertaining.
*edit: ReCaptcha says: "icihgt mushrooms.", but it looks like "eight mushrooms". o.o Is that why Italy was acting a bit more - er... peculiar - than usual? xP *
