So they inserted the tokens, and got down to playing. They were both swift on their feet although Gina seemed to be faring a bit better than Alfred. As she watched him play, she noticed how nice his body looked underneath his tank top. However, she quickly focused her attentions back to the game, deciding she would have more time to ogle him later. Three songs and a bunch of sweat later, they were done. Gina had beaten him fair and square.
Alfred was a little disappointed. “You deceived me! You beat me!”
All she said in reply was, “Suck it up,” in a very smug voice. “And since I beat you, I believe you need to fulfill some kind of condition for me.”
“Like what?”
She thought about that for a moment before making her decision. “I want you to take me out on a date tonight. I make the choices of dinner and whatnot, and you have to pay for it all.”
Alfred shrugged; he supposed that wasn’t too bad. “Well, I can make the time, but what about your schedule?”
“Don’t worry too much about me; I’ll manage.” She then took her bag, and right before leaving, planted a tiny kiss on his cheek before whispering in his ear, “I’ll see you around, sweetie.”
As she left the arcade room, Gina couldn’t believe herself. She got a guy to take her out on a date, made him promise to pay, and then kissed him. She couldn’t believe she actually found the confidence to do that. She felt utterly proud of herself, and also nervous. She had gone on a couple dates, but they were friendly ones that never got past first base. But she sensed something radically different would happen with Alfred.
