A girl with long green hair tied into twin braids burst through the top, her hands tied behind her back and mouth gagged. Arthur gasped at the sight before him, and she smiled at the sound, soft, sweet and mysterious. Her eyes were golden, Arthur observes, like one of the fairies he’s constantly bothered by back home. Then the girl made a muffled sound and Arthur realized he should’ve attended to her; at least taken off the cloth that obstructed her mouth. The girl closed her eyes as the Englishman attended to the knots holding the her gag in place and her arms crossed behind her.
“There, now there bloody well better be an explanation as to why you’re-
“ Before Arthur could finish his demand, the girl pressed her pink lips to his, arms wrapped around the lithe figure to hold him close against her. Her forehead was glowing, a red ensign that looked like wings illuminated her face. Arthur was transfixed.
“You desire the power to keep your family. To expand your family. This power I will grant to you only if you fulfill my wish. Do you agree to this contract?”
A voice, her voice. It was reverberating in Arthur’s head. But this time Arthur didn’t hesitate, he could already feel the power coursing through him- he was less wary, more alert. “I agree.”
“Then I grant you the power of kings.” And as the words were spoken, horrific images of death and life, destruction and order were displayed, and Arthur felt warmness coursing through his entire being. Just as quickly as it began though, it stopped and the girl was already smiling at him, no shame of the abrupt kiss showing on her face.
The door burst open, and three of his soldiers entered, dragging with them two Americans. “Sir! We found them hiding in the woods, what should we do-“
“Arms down, scoundrels! She’s an acquaintance of mine, and I will not tolerate anyone treating her with contempt and making her feel endangered.” Arthur ordered when the three British soldiers had registered the green hair girl behind the country and were pointing their arms at her. “And as for those American bastards, leave them here. An interrogation is in order.”
The British nodded, and stood aside to give their leader better access to the Americans. Arthur walked calmly towards the two clad in red, smiling kindly. “You are captured by the British army as prisoners of war. I’m sure you know the special treatment our prisoners get, but just for the two of you, if you can tell me where your other storehouses are, you will be free to go.”
One of them, the one already bruised badly on both eyes, spat at Arthur’s shoes. The other smirked. “We’ll sooner eat a frog than tell you Brits anything.”
“Really? ”Arthur grinned madly, bending to his knees so that he could see both soldiers squarely in the eyes. “But I must insist, tell me where the rest of your storehouses are.”
“As you wish, Sir."
I hope this was okay? Should I continue, Anons? And anon here is Canadian, she knows beans about the American revolution, only the basics. So forgive me if I got some details messed up!D:
Yes, continue! Please continue~ OP was beginning to lose hope in this ever getting filled, so seeing this wonderful intro is certainly a pleasant surprise!
I'm really interested in seeing where the story will be going and even though I'm curious as to what Arthur will do to Alfred, I also want to see what he does with Francis, Matthew and the other nations. Don't leave us hanging, kind anon!

Seconding OP--please continue, author!anon! I love the setup you've given us. And please don't worry about your knowledge of the American Revolution; in the experience of this American!anon, most Americans don't seem to know more than the basics about that war. You can always claim poetic license for this, at any rate. ♥
