“I mean, ah,” Japan tried to come up with a reply that could satisfy the other nation, but it was hard to forget how to be polite. And Alfred was anything but polite… “What I meant was, I might have forgotten, but… I’m… I’m the hero anyway!” he spouted out, inwardly flailing around at the idiocy and at the embarrassment.
He couldn’t come up with anything more (or less) intelligent, and cringed…
England scoffed and turned his back to Japan, who felt his muscles relax instantaneously. “You’re really an idiot” he muttered, shaking his head. “I needed those for the monthly balance, I’ll have to rectify this myself…”
Thankfully, it appeared as if England was used to this kind of stupid behaviour.
Also, it was good that Japan owned America’s voice now… it was easier to pronounce the consonants like Alfred did, and they did come off a bit strangely, but still nothing worrisome. Thankfully he knew English… he had to thank Arthur for this, actually.
Ah, it was so strange… as Arthur sat down on Alfred’s table, checking the documents with a frown on his brow (and acting like he owned the place), Japan hovered behind his back, fascinated. He was actually taller than him! and his shoulders were broader, too.
It was such a difference…
And from this position, he could look at England in the eyes, too.
He’d always wondered how it would feel, to stare at the other nation down like this… not exactly towering, but… taller. Bigger. He could fight better like this, wouldn’t he? He wouldn’t need a sword. He could just use his strength…
“What are you staring at?”
Japan was startled out of his thoughts again by finding a pair of deep green eyes staring in anger at him.
“I’m doing the work you should have done” Arthur seethed, angered. “You could at least move somewhere else, and stop staring!”
Japan flushed -hard, and England narrowed his eyes, the angry look changing into one of surprise. “America… are you having… a fever?”
One hand hovered above Japan’s forehead, then retreated and England chuckled “of course you can’t, you never get sick” he rolled his eyes, and returned to his documents. “But there is something different of you… like… a vibe, or something?”
Japan felt the sudden need to do two things, completely different -bow and apologize, for his rudeness and the fact that he wasn’t America at all… and grope England.
The sole thought made him flush even more and filled him with inexplicable dread; he would deny it until his death bed, but he did have a perverted streak… and this was the worst time ever for it to resurface (usually it popped up only whenever he had to write another book of his…), too!
Of all times to get ideas…
B-but it was the first time he was actually bigger than someone else. Every time Korea popped up, he was always on the receiving end of his undignified groping, and no one listened to him because he was small, too…
So now…
“Don’t you have anything else to do? Like, actual work?” Arthur growled, shifting under the intense stare. He didn’t like it, and at the same time, it made him fidget. There was something he couldn’t get of it.
Japan’s eyes sparkled. Well, there could always be books he could write about this… he had to make use of this opportunity.
And then maybe call America in his body. That would definitely come second.
So when England stood up, picking up the documents with a satisfied grin, determined in carrying on his daily chores away from America’s house, and felt something grope his ass, he could only react in the most dignified way possible -squealing and jumping forwards, all sheets flying everywhere.
